How much is the deposit and when will it be charged?

When collecting your rental car, Woodford will hold an authorisation amount over and above the estimated rental cost on your credit card for the duration of the rental.

This hold will cover refuelling, additional kilometres, Etolls, and any other charges accrued post the rental period.

The average holding amount (excluding the rental cost) is R5000.00, but this may vary according to your specific rental vehicle class.

When the vehicle is returned and all outstanding amounts have been settled we will notify the bank to release the hold.
