It’s a little-known fact that Woodford Car Hire – the largest independent vehicle rental company in South Africa – was started in Durban almost 15 years ago.

What began as a two-vehicle rental agency at Woodford Grove – just minutes from where the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium is now located – near the bustle of the city, has become a national provider of arguably the widest range of vehicles to locals and tourists across the country.

In true Durban spirit, Woodford Car Hire might started off small, but always had the biggest heart, and more than anything, the desire to punch above its weight.

Woodford Car Hire has worked towards imbibing the warmth and hospitality of Durban in all of its divisions, bringing the sunshine of the city to its branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
