Designing your Life with Decorex
The exhibition’s last instalment for the year begins this August in Johannesburg and will once again serve as Africa’s most comprehensive décor, design and lifestyle exhibition.

Finding what you love might be the challenge, but Decorex seems to make that challenge a little bit easier for South Africans.
The exhibition’s last instalment for the year begins this August in Johannesburg and will once again serve as Africa’s most comprehensive décor, design and lifestyle exhibition.
Decorex takes place at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand – some 30 kilometres from the Woodford Car Hire branch at OR Tambo International Airport – and will feature the wide variety of quality exhibitors that have come to be expected of the bumper event, including ‘décor solutions’ for every need and setting, from home finishes, accessories and appliances to kitchen, bathroom and garden – all in one place.
This being the 21st year of the exhibition (young in comparison to Woodford Car Hire’s ripe old age of 23!), the theme chosen is “Design your Life”, prompting visitors to consider ideas and design that inspires individuality and a sense of timelessness. In keeping with the theme, Decorex will introduce the world renowned international design exhibition 100% Design South Africa at the show.
Decorex has also added a few features to the line-up, including a Craft Collective pavilion and the 2014 Design & Trend Forecast event that runs concurrently with the exhibition – a must for would-be or seasoned decorators and home enthusiasts.
Visitors to the exhibition can purchase tickets online, while those from out of town can simply open another tab and rent one of Woodford Car Hire’s beautiful vehicles (to match your great sense of style!) to get them to and from the convention centre.
The event takes place over the Women’s Day weekend, so you might be interested in prolonging your stay and taking in the sights and shopping in and around Johannesburg with Woodford taking care of all your vehicle hire needs.
