Woodford Is Now Open in Sandton!

Woodford Car Hire is now open at Hilton Sandton in Johannesburg in a move that will bring car rental to the people, as never experienced before.

In February 2022, Woodford Car Hire – in partnership with Hilton Hotels and Resort – opened for business at Hilton Sandton.

The Sandton branch is the first of many locations Woodford has earmarked for opening during the course of the year in a bid to make car hire more accessible to people, based on their need.

Hilton Sandton guests will be able to book vehicles on demand at the kiosk located at the hotel, whilst other travellers or customers can book online or simply walk in if they need a car for the day, for a weekend getaway, or a special occasion.

Essa Suleman, MD of the Woodford Group explains: “Having a branch at the prestigious hotel is, of course, an honour for Woodford, but we believe that the opening represents a new approach to mobility that will provide convenience and benefit to customers.”

Through branches like Sandton, Woodford Car Hire gives customers the easiest possible route to rent a vehicle by having branches in places that people live, frequent, and feel comfortable collecting from. With dozens more of such branches planned, this means that Woodford will be available to people wherever they happen to be.

Flexibility is the other key benefit at branches like Sandton, with travellers having the freedom to rent a vehicle according to their schedule and need – they aren’t restricted to the vehicle and rates they get at the airport, despite them not needed the vehicle for the entire duration of the stay.

Over the next few months, Woodford will be rolling out more locations in key areas and centres, all of which will be available to book for collection online at www.woodford.co.za
