Woodford Car Hire is helping customers save on travel costs during the festive season by waiving the R1500* drop-off fee from 11 September to 31 January 2024, for cars being returned to any Woodford Cape Town branch.

As South Africa gears up for a busy (and expensive!) festive season, Woodford Car Hire is encouraging travellers to hit the road to Cape Town and explore the country at their leisure. The idea is to then fly back, instead of travelling on the same return route - boosting local tourism and saving on high flight costs in the process. Woodford is encouraging this by waiving what would normally be charged for a one-way drop-off.

The intention is to give holidaymakers travel alternatives that make sense whilst also acting on Woodford’s promise to give customers more value. It is also centred around inspiring South Africans to go on new adventures and try new things.
